Our Summer.....Part 1

To kick start the summer Savannah had to go swimming. She is becoming quite the swimmer. We took Savannah to the Aquarium, where we had lunch and met Sharkey. She touched a Sting Ray, Starfish, and a Crab. She loved it. For the 4th of July weekend we went to the Rockies Game. The highlight of the night was the fireworks display. Then we enjoyed another display on the 4th at Westminster City park. Savannah enjoyed every minute.

Block Party

As we got there Savannah went right to the play ground. She found a classmate. The rest of the night they were inseparable. The block party was kindof disappointing, there was no bbq. There was a band playing some cool tunes. Westminster Fire department had rides on the Fire Truck. That was the highlight of the night. Savannah and I waited for our turn. She loved the ride. Then we headed home.

Past year.....

Wow can't believe it's been almost a year since the last post. Time does fly and a lot has happened. First we have been potty training Savannah like crazy. But she was having a hard time with doing number 2 in the toilet. In September got to spend time with family for Libby's first birthday. October, we had a new neice born named Jazlin. In November Savannah got to go to her first CU football game. Before the game started we went down to the field and meet Ralphie the buffaloe. She really loved that. Instead of watching the game, she was to busy talking to people around us and going up and down the stairs. But we still had fun. Now the holidays, and still potty training Savannah. We spend Thanksgiving in Kansas and Christmas in Utah. It was so go to see family. When the new year approached we were hard on Savannah on the training. Just so that we can put her in school. Then that day came, FINALLY. For her 4th birthday this year we had a bowling party. She had a great day with family and friends. She almost got a strike. So in April she started school, class of 2025 has commenced. She loves it. So we put her in summer camp.

July 4th

It was great having family visit for the 4th. We had a weekend planned of activities. We went swimming on Saturday, which Donovan and Destiny didn't do to bad, watched a movie. Then Sunday the 4th we spent most of the day at the park, which the kids loved. We had a day planned of things to do but, the weather didn't hold up. So we had our bbq indoors while watching the Colorado Rapids on tv. Got carried away with the soccer game that we missed the fireworks. As we were coming back from the city park, we saw some going off. So we sat and watch the fireworks in our cars, since it was raining. As Savannah fell asleep, David and I watched the fireworks. Then came home and watched a movie. Knowing the rain put a downer on things I hope you all had a great weekend.

Take me out to the ball game!!!!

Time sure does fly. Can't believe the last time I was on was Savannah's birthday. Since then, in May, Savannah was sick. She had a temp between 99.2 and 102 that she couldn't shake off. It lasted about a week. Called her pedi but, he was full so got an appointment with the new Doctor. Told him her symptoms. He also checked her ears and throat. Which her throat was slightly red. So he was treating it like she had mono. Also before we left he wanted to do a blood draw on her. As a precausion. Which she didn't cry one bit. I was so proud of her. As we were leaving the Dr. office the nurse gave her a sticker and a sucker....well she grabbed two of each. I did take a picture but, Savannah has dropped the laptop and now the disc drive doesn't work. So I can't browse the cd of the picture. Then a week later, got the call from the Doctor saying her lab work came back nothing wrong.
Then in June we went to a Rockies game. Where it rained off and on all day. But Savannah was such a trooper she didn't mind the rain. She kept on cheering. Thanks dad for the tickets.
