Happy 3rd Birthday!!!
Happy Birthday Savannah!! Will her first present was from G&G Linares and Uncle Nicholas. She noticed the package was of Mickey Mouse. That when we got home she wanted to open it. She loved the dress that she had to put it on. So she stripped and put the dress on. She looked so cute. Thank you G&G Linares and Uncle Nicholas. Her day started with a movie, Snow White. Since it was a nice day we spend the afternoon at the park. You are getting to be such a dare devil. Trying new things out, and you don't give up. Love the fact that you always make friends. As we wait for dad to get off work. She took a power nap. Noticed we picked up dad. She woke up and said "go to store now"! As we were going down the rows in the toy department. She kept adding more and more toys in the cart. Trying to tell her to just pick two. She had a cow when we started putting away some of the toys. When she wasn't looking we would put some of the toys away as we would go get some groceries. She ended up with a ball and a princess tot bag with hair styling things. I just love how you are doing more and more things on your own.....Miss Independent. Love the fact that you always want to be read to. Love how you copy every word when I read to you. Part 2 this weekend at the Zoo. To be continued.......

CHRISTMAS
Wow, it's hard to believe that the holidays came and went. But we sure did miss the rest of our family. We did have a nice Christmas. Savannah woke up early and was very determined to open her presents. As we waited for Eddie and Areli (brother-in-law and sister-in-law). We had breakfast. About the time the kids were done with breakfast Eddie and Areli showed up. Then it was time to open the presents. Savannah was in heaven, she didn't know which one to open first. As she opened one she said "Wow look at this". Then put it aside and started with another one. She would finish one and go right to the next one. Then when there was no more to open. She would help mommy and daddy with theirs. She really liked her gifts thanks everyone. As we were coming home I was thinking where are we going to put her toys. But I put up the babyish toys and stored them in the closet. When I was doing this I felt sad. How my baby girl is a toddler now and growing so wonderfully.

Pottie Training.......
We have tried to pottie train Savannah back in September. She would think it was a game and would get up and down off the toilet. So we held off on the pottie training until now. For about a week now we have been pottie training Savannah. I thought it was going to take an arm and a leg to get her to go pottie but, really she isn't doing to bad. We are very proud of her. For some kids they probably want to read a book. As for Savannah, she rather color.

HALLOWEEN
Our Halloween started with a quick trip to Utah. For baby Libby's blessing on Sunday. On our way there, we got held up between Cheyenne and Laramie. I have never seen so many semi's in my life. It took us 1 hr to get from Cheyenne to Laramie, when it only takes us 25 minutes. Then when we reached Green River, knowing we were in a pocket of semi's and going like 60 miles an hour. A semi drifted into our lane and as I honked my horn so many times and as long the driver made me spin out in the median, Dodging two poles. As I got control of the vehicle thinking we could have rolled. Sped up to the driver. Waiting for him to move over to the right lane. So that I can give him a peice of my mind. As I was passing the driver, looked up at him he was smiling. David did give him a peice of his mind. Needless to say, we got to Utah just giving Savannah enough time to trick or treat. Savannah had a great time trick or treating and playing with Cameron. At the luncheon all she wanted to eat was chips and cookies. I like to thank Heavenly Father for sparing our lives. The ride home was much better.

Savannah
I can't believe how Savannah is growing. She amazes me everyday. Every morning she will climb up on the counter, in the bathroom, and imitate me when I'm getting ready. I just love when she dresses herself. It's like her dad had dressed her, but yet she rather have all her clothes on at the same time. She loves to read or being read to. Again she will imitate some of the words and read'em to her stuffed bears. When she does this I wish I had my camera out. But when I do have it out. I try to sneek to get a picture, but everytime I get too close she stops and does somthing else. When she was a baby I would wonder what her favorite toy or stuffed animal would be. Lately, for the past month it has been the stuffed bear that her grandma Shockey bought her when we went camping last August. She carryies that everywhere we go. Even to church. She loves to go to the park. She takes her green soccer ball every time. When we are there I try to help her go down the slide. She always wants to do it herself. She is getting to be an independent person. She also loves to help out with chores: putting the dishes away, laundry and helps putting away her toys. No 2 year old I know would probably do that. Knowing David and I call each other "babe". When she is trying to get our attention she will call us "babe". It's just hilarious. Our resent trip to Utah. Savannah got to meet Isabel and Libby. I was excited to see how Savannah and Isabel interact with each other. Will Savannah was little hard on Izzy. Wanted to wrestle with her. Had to keep telling Savannah to be gentle. But I guess she gets that at daycare. Her babysitter watches her grandson once or twice a week. Plus, she has 2 other sons that are home and play with her too and David....will there you go. You see where she gets the harshness from. Then I hear " she needs a brother" alot. Maybe that will be child number 2. Anyways, the two cousins were cute together. She loved Libby given her kisses and telling her go to sleep, night, love you. Like she does when we go to bed. She adores Cameron. Always wants to know where Cameron is.

Check Up!!
Our baby girl is getting big. On August 5th Savannah had her check up. It was one of the best ones. Again, when the Dr. came in she went up to him and sat on his lap. Then she went right to the basket of books and sat in the chair to read a book. As Dr. and I chatted for a bit he noticed how talkative she is and that her vocab is getting longer. She is doing well in her development. Also that she is a healthy active girl. She is now 25.4 LBS and 36.4 in height. When the nurse came in to give her shot. She wasn't ready because she wasn't done reading the book. When the nurse was ready, which she only had to get one shot this time, got Savannah ready. When the nurse stuck her with the needle, Savannah was about to cry but didn't. She was a big girl. So the Dr. gave her a sucker and a sticker. She didn't want the sticker she wanted another sucker.
